Covid-19 Response updated 23rd June
The welfare and safety our guests and our local community remains our highest priority and we are closely following advice of Public Health England and the government advice.
Please see below some useful information for our guests in regards to our proposed course of action moving forward.
Check-in: We have always offered key code checkin, which in the current circumstances limits contact with staff and other guests.
Distance rule: In public areas such as corridors and shared bathrooms, all guests are required to keep a distance of one metre between them. You will be responsible for managing this yourselves and we ask that you are respectful towards others.
Capacity Adjustment: We have reduced the capacity of the bunkhouse to 6 people total until the end of July. We will review this during the last week of July. Bookings beyond the end of July may find more than 6 people staying.
Disinfectant dispensers: Disinfectant dispensers will be placed at the entrance to the property and inside bathroom areas. Guest are asked to please use these before entering the property and to spray any basin, toilet and shower areas after use.
Room cleaning: New cleaning practices will be put in place to provide the best possible protection against potential Covid-19 viruses. The most frequently used areas, such as bathrooms, and most used surfaces, such as key pads and door handles will receive particular attention.
As stated previously we are adhering to the government guidelines closely and we will amend any processes when advised to do so.
We look forward to welcoming you all back to the bunkhouse soon!
We hope these measures put in place will give our guests reassurance that we are doing everything we can to protect us all.
Track & Trace: We would also ask our guests on a confidential basis to inform us if they develop any symptoms within 7 days of leaving the bunkhouse which will enable us to inform other guests whom may have been in contact.
